Duty Manager – Nights

The management of the Oxwich Bay Hotel and associated areas through the night and to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests and team. The business needs to be ready to open at 7.30am every day with ‘The Oxwich Bay’ standard in place and compliant.

Role Responsibilities:

1. To ensure that customer service is at the heart of everything that you do.

2. Have the ability to lead and manage team members, changing management styles to engage a diverse team.

3. Manage the day to day operation effectively and efficiently within budgeted guidelines.

4. To co-ordinate the entire night operation around the guests needs.

5. To ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

6. Answer any Telephone calls and resolve enquires.

7. To ensure that thorough walks of the property are conducted every 3 hours and any issues or disturbances are logged and dealt with in a professional manner.

8. Ensure thorough business handovers take place and are documented using specified form.

9. Deal with any complaints that arise in a polite and professional manner always finding an appropriate resolution.

10. Respond to any emails in a timely, polite and professional manner.

1. All relevant areas must be closed down to a 5* EHO standard.

14. Complete Beer line-cleans

16. To ensure all areas of the business are securely locked at the appropriate time.

17. To ensure all areas of the business are opened at the appropriate time.

18. Collaborate with Weddings Co-ordinator to ensure efficient running of Wedding/Event.

19. To set up breakfast buffet and tables as the standard identified.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £15.00 per hour
