Nicky Jones Private Dining was created from a genuine passion for food, hosting, and creating memorable experiences around the table.
After gaining extensive experience working in professional kitchens and delivering high-end dining experiences, I wanted to bring restaurant-quality food into a more personal setting. The idea came from seeing how much people value relaxed, intimate meals where they can connect with friends and family while enjoying exceptional food with a bit of flair —without the pressure of cooking or going out.
Private dining allows me to focus on what matters most: seasonal ingredients, thoughtful menus, and beautifully plated dishes, all served in a space where guests feel completely at ease. Every event is tailored, personal, and designed to feel special from start to finish.
Kitchen Requirements
kitchen check is essential just to ensure the space can cater for the menu and plating.
I am fully equipped for private dining and can bring the majority of professional kitchen equipment required to deliver the menu, allowing for minimal reliance on your home kitchen.
-How does the private dining experience work?
Once an enquiry is made, we’ll discuss your event details including date, number of guests, dietary requirements, and the style of menu you’re looking for. From there, a bespoke menu is created to suit your occasion.
On the day, everything is taken care of—from preparation and cooking to plating and service—so you and your guests can simply relax and enjoy the experience.
Private dining is best suited to small to medium-sized groups, typically between 2–12 guests.
Larger groups may be possible depending on the menu and space available, and this can be discussed during the enquiry stage.
Is private dining only available at the client’s home?
No, the service is primarily offered in the comfort of your own home. However, my private dining can also be arranged in holiday lets or private venues with suitable kitchen facilities—I also do kitchen pop and events so just get in touch to discuss your space.
-Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Absolutely. Dietary requirements and allergies are always accommodated with advance notice.
-Do you provide crockery, cutlery, and glassware?
This depends on the event. In most cases, I will provide my own crockery, depending on how many guests but this will be discussed if hire is required.
-How far in advance should I book?
It’s recommended to book at least 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and peak seasons.
-Do you clean up afterwards?
Yes. The kitchen will be left clean and tidy, just as it was found.
-Can menus be customised?
All menus are fully bespoke and tailored to your preferences, seasonality, and the style of event you’re hosting.
