Para Sport Festival

Give it a Go! Following on from the week-long success of last years’ event, the Para Sport Festival returns in 2024 to build on the local inclusive opportunities and competitive para sport opportunities that were showcased last year.  Outside of traditional mega-events, like the Paralympics, Deaflympics, Virtus Global Games or Special Olympic Games, this event is one of a kind combining competitive para sport events across a number of sports, alongside inclusive participation opportunities. From ‘give it a go events’ to elite para sporting events, there are plenty of ways to get involved: Participate– the insport series day returns, an opportunity to come along and try over 20 different para sports and learn more about disability sport in the local area.Spectate– the week-long event will consist of six elite para sport competitions, showcasing some of the best athletes in para sport.Volunteer– join the team to assist with the running of the sporting events in Swansea throughout the week.
